1. 1. Reference: terms and company.
This project is not limited to capital cinephiles, in fact intellectual, serious, opened people are in every corner of Ukraine! There is no need in compelling them to leave home town to have an opportunity to watch good cinema on large screen.
Local «points of arthouse» — own representatives of «Traffic» appear gradually in cities-millionaire:
- Movie company «Magic-film» in Kharkov;
- Agency «PROMO-plus» in Odessa
2. ÒÌ ALeXX. Creative partner to creative cinema!
To a great extent success of project «Arthouse traffic» is obliged to successful collaboration with creative brand — ÒÌ ALeXX.
ÒÌ ALeXX is famous Ukrainian cognac brand that due to its creative constituent, , non-standard methods of promotion and active participation in the cultural projects of resonances grew out of simple cognac and outgrew in whole brend: AleXX-fashion, AleXX-cinema.
It is difficult to define a point in which ÒÌ ALeXX is finished as cognac and begun as new creative direction in art and fashion.

Project AleXX-cinema was launched together with «Arthouse traffic», young Ukrainian company-cinemadistributor that for the second year had been engaged in the film distribution of the noncommercial cinema in our country in 2004.
Due to successful collaboration of trade marks— «arthouse» cognac and «creative» cinema — thousands of cinephiles of all Ukraine got possibility to see the long-awaited films with «taste of adult games» that didn’t reach many screens without support of!
Here are some projects we are deservedly proud of:
- The first Japanese film in the Ukrainian film distribution: « Zàòiochi» (prod. Takeshi Kitano);
- The first Latin-American film in the Ukrainian film distribution: «City of God» (prod. Fernando Meyrellish);
- The first Korean film in the Ukrainian film distribution: «Empty house» (prod. Kim of Ki Duk)
- The first Hong Kong film in the Ukrainian film distribution: «2046» (prod. Vong Karvay) — together with ÒÌ ALEXX!
- The first record film in the Ukrainian film distribution: «Birds» (prod. Jacques Perren);
- First and unique case of public show on the wide screen in Ukraine, so-called «trash-cinema», forbidden before for domestic film distribution: festival the «Trash -cinema» (classics of genre — films of the American studio «TROMA»);
- The first Dutch film in the Ukrainian film distribution: «New fairy-tales of brothers of Grimm» (prod. Alex van Varmerdam) — together with ÒÌ ALEXX!
- The first Bolivian film in the Ukrainian film distribution: «Sexual dependence» (prod. Rodrigo Belott) — together with ÒÌ ALEXX!
- Under the brand of «Arthouse traffic» the masterpieces of the world cinema began to appear regularly in Ukrainian film distribution. From unmentioned above:
- «Returning» (prod. Andrey Zvyagintsev; «Gold Leo» of the Venetian film festival-2003);
- «Oldboy» (prod. Chkhan-uk Pack; Grand Prix of Cannes-2004);
- Legendary animation film, the most stylish cartoon in the history of animation, eccentric adventure animated cartoon for adults is «Trio from Belleville» — together with ÒÌ ALEXX!
«Arthouse traffic» is the only cinemadistributor that supports the young Ukrainian cinema:
- «Mamay» (prod. Oles' Sanin)
- «Guide-book» (prod. Alexander Shapiro)
3. TRAFFIC and ALeXX Creative
We don't simply show films, we create events.
Due to ÒÌ ALEXX the premieres of many our films and opening of festivals are begun with evening-parties a la ALEXX. Do you remember the key to room #2046 in Hong Kong L’Orient Hotel, that was a permit on the show of film Vonga Karvay?
Such zests are characteristic for every new premiere with participation ÒÌ ALEXX!
And the brightest events are always festivals.
«Arthouse traffic» is the unique domestic cinemadistributor that regularly conducts the thematic cinemas-events as follows:
- Festival of Serzh Gensbura (together with French cultural center, Embassy of France in Ukraine, under the auspices of the National film studio after the name of A.Dovzhenko);
- «Line of Spanish cinema» — together with ÒÌ ALEXX!
4. ARTHOUSE TRAFFIC and ALeXX. Plans for observable future:

- Distribution of film «Once in Europe» (prod. Hans Stor; Germany) from December, 8, 2005.,
- Distribution of film «Educators» (prod. Hans Vayntgartner; Germany-Austria) at year-end.
